I know we hear it over and over again, that our children are only young once… so let’s pause time and capture your little one’s features and moments with family.
Step One
The Process
Jessica likes to make newborn sessions as relaxing as possible, occurring 2-4 weeks after birth. Sessions can take place in your home or at my studio in Ellicott City, Maryland. We’ll book the session for 2 hours so there is no need to feel rushed; allowing time for feedings, and diaper changes.
In-home photos are more photojournalist and showcase you in your natural element. Jessica is here to provide direction, but she’ll also stand back and allow your life to naturally unfold. Studio sessions are naturally more posed and allow for more intricate images to come to life. A 50% deposit is due upon contract signing which covers, planning, communication, location fees, styling and then of course the session time itself.
Step Two
The Session
Jessica is here to help you determine if you would like an in-Home Newborn Photography session, or a session in her studio. Jessica offers two sessions both either at your home or in her Clarksville, Maryland studio. In-Home Photography is either 90 minutes or 30-minutes located in the comfort of your home. In-home newborn sessions are photojournalistic and showcase you and your family in the nursery, bedroom and other special areas of your home. In-Studio Photography is 90-minutes or 30-minutes depending on your preference. This is the perfect option for those who don’t want visitors in their home! Jessica makes this easy and provides all props and wraps.
Step Three
The Reveal
After your session is done, Jessica will be in touch with you throughout the editing process; sending sneak peaks and discussing the editing style to ensure you’re loving your photographs. Photos are hand-edited meticulously and take time to produce; allowing for a turnaround time of roughly 2-4 weeks. Photos will be delivered via email in a digital gallery where you’ll view your collection. It’s Jessica’s goal to make sure you’re 100% satisfied with your album, so please let her know if you have any questions or concerns.

Milestone Photography
If you would like to capture all of your child’s milestones from birth to their 1st birthday, this is the most economical package for you. Sessions can take place in Jessica’s studio in Ellicott City, Maryland or outdoors. We’ll sit down and discuss your vision for your sessions and Jessica will take care of the rest!
